David is a picture of grace in the Old Testament. He is a prototype for the Lord Jesus. This is because when the human way failed (i.e., the people’s selection of a king in Saul), then God sent His choice to redeem His people. Today, let’s explore the story of the anointing of David to be the King of Isreal.
