Because God loves you and wants what is best for you, He pursues you. From Jonah we see a model of this pursuit. The way God pursued Jonah’s heart is the way he is pursuing your heart:

God is pursuing your heart personally.
God is pursuing your heart providentially.
God is pursuing your heart purposefully.
