Lord, To Whom Shall We Go? – John 6:48-69

The teaching of Jesus is very different than we see teaching today. He used methods that eventually made him rather unpopular. Why? Jesus taught for a verdict. He forced people to a point of decision about the truth of His claims to be God’s Son and the Savior of the World. For those who trusted in Him as Lord, He gave eternal life and they continued to follow Jesus as His disciples.
Our text from Scripture provides three biblical truths about being a sustained disciple of Jesus. Today let’s listen to the Holy Spirit speak to us through His Word about our lives.
Three Biblical Truths for My Life as a Disciple of Jesus
- A biblical gospel is a spiritual gospel (6.60)
- A biblical gospel separates false believers (6.66)
- A biblical gospel concludes other ideas about salvation are wrong (6.68)
