Tonight, we are going to start looking at a biblical description of personal ministry.  In other words, we are answering the question, “What does a biblical personal ministry look like as we live out?”  This text provides the first of a series of descriptions:

Let’s look at Five descriptions of personal ministry:

1. Personal ministry has great highs and devastating lows (2:12-13)
2. Personal ministry has a sense of compulsion from grace (2:14)
3. Personal ministry has periods of acceptance and rejection (2:15-16A)
4. Personal ministry has a sense of inadequacy (2:16B)
5. Personal ministry has a heart motivation (2:17)
