Are You Full of Joy? – John 3:22-30

John the Baptist said, “…this joy of mine has been made full.” It seems clear, therefore, we have in this text a biblical way to satisfaction in life; a satisfaction greater even than temporary happiness. Would it not be wise to see God’s answer to the question: How can I be happy?
A Biblical Way to Find Joy in Life
- Your joy is found in intentionally fulfilling the job God has assigned to you using God’s power, but while realizing your time to do this is limited. (3.27 and 3.29)
- Your joy is found in intentionally pointing others to Jesus using God’s power, but while also releasing your agenda to Christ (3.28 and 3.30)
As a Christ-follower are you willing to pray right now this prayer? “Dear Lord, today I am ready to decrease because I want You to increase through me. Please help me to faithfully do this.”
