My Grace is Sufficient, 2 Corinthians 12:7-10

God allowed Paul to have a “thorn in the flesh” and He would not remove it despite Paul’s faith and prayer.  Why would God not remove the thorn in the flesh?  It would SEEM from the natural perspective removing it would make Paul’s ministry more effective.  The apostle said he had learned God’s ways are different than ours.

Let’s look at THREE REASONS Paul did not have the thorn taken away by the Lord:

1. A thorn in the flesh can let the air out of your prideful chest (12.7)
2. A thorn in the flesh can force you to allow God to carry you because you can no longer walk (12.9)
3. A thorn in the flesh can conform us to the image of Christ (12.10)
